Itallian, Indian, Mexican, Lebanese, Thai, Chinese, Vietnamese, waffles, crepes, cake!, ice scream, pancakes, fruit, etc.. etc...

There are so many delicious things in the world! Once you've done your research, there is no real reason to fret over missing out while adhering to a different food ethic.

I tried going vegetarian a few years ago, not because I didn't want to eat meat, but because I actually felt pity for the animals (I blame my hippie, sensitive mother and sister for that)... So as an act of solidarity I decided to stay away from the flesh

That didn't last very long. I just don't have the willpower. I'm sorry, delicious animals... I hope you're all in a better place now

I'm an omnivore.
I see no reason to limit your palate when there are such delicious things to eat!
However, when I eat meat, I usually silently thank the animal for sustaining me.

I hate fish and seafood. I know...I know, I'm living in the wrong country but there PLENTY of delicious other things in Japan.I have started to eat tempura shrimp(ebi fry) and squid and octopus sushi is good. I still can't get over the fishy taste in fish. It's like licking a plank off a pier.

i lived like three months vegan and then had pesto genovese, my bad.
nowadays i go for a more healthy diet. breakfast, a lil something (peferably fruit or vegetables and bread&butter) and lunch. i think its enough. i try to have not more meaty meals than once a week. and i stopped eating junkfood when it were salad days(!!!).
in the end its a economic question: do you want to put 2 parts of food (agricultural grown/fished) in 1 part of food (meat/farmed fish)? i think the world cant handle this anymore.
and its the alcohol that turns you into a fattie.

i eat plenty fish, birds and other assorted small animals. the biggest animal i eat is a bacon. i dont eat beef and sheep. i like rabbit very much

quail barbecued down the local turkish makes vegetarianism an impossibility

the biggest bird i have eaten is an ostrich, though not a complete one. was a burger. very nice

i used to be vegetarian and got quite into it with the ethics and all that but with hindsight i think i was just doing it to try and impress my vegetarian girlfriend at the time

i'm not opposed to animal products. But i am opposed to factory farming.

i only consume game or locally produced animal products.
i've been known to cheat every once in a while at restaurants.

that said, most of my meals are vegan.
but i had to select the everything moves option to be fair.

i'm getting hens this spring for eggs. can't wait.
