One of the better posts I've seen in a while, had to nominate it for best of:

Meh, it was funny - the guy was dogging some moron who had made individual postings for every music book he had ever bought in the eighties...whitesnake, winger, amy grant.

I'll edit the post, although the guy got himself flagged, probably by the guy he was dogging.

Actually, I saw the ad in question. It was nowhere near funny. About as imaginative as a hot turd.

lol, we've got a butt-rock fan in the house

Anyway, I didn't post that ad - I would never tell someone on craigslist (or anywhere) that I'd rather them spread herpes instead of sell winger and whitesnake music books

Totally - that's exactly what I thought

the eighties were so hilarious to look back on, knowing I wasn't old enough to make an embarrassment out of myself (yet) - as long as you were in a band where everyone had long hair but boofed bangs, and your band was named after a color and an animal, you were cool (i.e. Mauve Monkey, Olive Platypus  )...although, I bet Kip Winger got laid more than everyone on this forum combined

I don't know squat about model trains, but this guy posted this listing in the musical instruments section, and I lol'd when I saw it
