I would think that the new method of warping in Live 8 would be the most discussed topic on the forum
but it seems like it's the least. I have no experience with it as I've not used the beta release but
I would like to know how the extreme audio warpist feel about it?

I'm not an extremist at all although I did have a brief run in with the Scientologists in the seventies. 
I too was awaiting Live's new warping function with some trepidation. But after seeing it demonstrated in detail yesterday @ Remix, really does seem more intuitive and accurate. The new transient detection and slicing algorithm appears to be quite the schnizzle.
