If that turns out to be true then yes, way over priced. this is a £150 toy, no more.

However, since you only think you read it then it's probably better to wait for them to announce the price for real, then we can know that we've read it properly...I think.
from http://createdigitalmusic.com/tag/operator-1/
Pricing: It’s unofficially expected to be “under the 1000 Euros mark." Note that the target price is EUR600, which is pretty far under EUR1000. Anywhere near that, and it’s a steal.
i knew I wasn't imagining it

And you've played with one first hand then in order to make that judgement, or are you going by the deceptively simple interface and Casio-like case?

FAIL.

Some guys who helped design the Elektron MD and MnM are behind this, I'm very interested personally.

That german translation is completely wrong. Maybe spend 10$ on a real translator instead of a program.

a thousand euros!

HA HA HA HA HA HA

April 1st.

I wonder.

I'd pay a tenner

That casio pic summed it up for me.

I am sure it's not that much surely?

All of you doubters will fall to your knees and weep the first time you see and hear how glorious this thing will be (and how much easier it will be to pick up art-skank chicks at the coffee house when you whip this thing out.)

This OP-1 has like 3 knobs and a keyboard that looks worse than the nanokey.

What is hardware without a compelling interface, except overpriced software?
GO VEGAN!!! - Macbook Air, Bass Station II, Some Korg shit, Live Suite, U-He, Audio Damage, Microtonic, Ohmicide, more soft stuffs, awesome controllers, euro rack modular synth,an awesome cat.
