Way OT: Gunnar glasses
Way OT: Gunnar glasses
After spending all hours of the day staring at a computer screen, I decided to get a pair of Gunnar glasses. Supposedly they have some sort of digital filter in the lenses. I don't know about all that, but I've noticed a huge difference in how i feel at the end of the day. No eye strain or fatigue, no headaches. and the glasses don't look all that bad.. slightly clubby, not too Euro-trash Gunther-esque. and not too high-priced, considering the amount of hours you'll end up using them, and the headaches they may keep you from getting. Give em a try!!!

Re: Way OT: Gunnar glasses
Interesting. Back when I was working in film and doing a lot of editing I developed a sensitivity to light (effin CRT's). Ten years later my eyes still feel like they're going to explode 8 if I'm out in the daylight or on computers without shades for more than a few seconds.
I thought of finding some window tint, or film they use over movie cameras, to place over the monitor so I wouldn't have to use the lame shades my doctor prescribed.
Will look into these.
