latest pick from Bleep: Kuedo (Vex'D) (also, lounge)
New Prefuse 73 is awesome - clear contender for best of Warp 2009...Everything She Touched Turned Ampexian is one of the most beautiful/complex/strangest albums I've heard in a while, picked up WAV version off of Bleep today (one day early, nice) and haven't stopped listening to it.
Also picked up Ras G's Brotha From Anotha Planet, also very nice - instrumental/psychedelic/dub/jazz fusion/hip hop album - it's all over the place, but good walking tunes.

Really, Everything... is just so good - 29 tracks, all of them anywhere from 30 seconds to almost 2 minutes, but you can't really tell where the tracks start/finish if you're just listening (don't think that it's like Extinguished Outtakes - this is an album proper). I didn't get into the last couple from P73, (Vocal Uprock and OWE were on constant repeat when I got them) but this is definitely my favorite album of the year so far, and unless Clark delivers another LP on the same level as Empty The Bones of You, it's going to stay that way.

bumping for support - absolutely killer avant garde instrumental hip-hop that beats everything I've heard in the last three years...if you've got a few bucks, go cop this from Bleep.com pronto.

Fantastic! Thanks for the tip, I didn't know he had a new one out. OWE is without doubt a brilliant record, but I love Surrounded by Silence too, there's some brilliant stuff there - Pagina Dos, Sabbatical With Options etc.
The guy's brain is definitely wired differently - lucky for us. Time to head on over to Bleep!

Just got home from school and listening to this on the bus - it is just one of those albums you hear the first time, and then want to listen to again, and then after the second time, you find yourself analyzing it and wanting to set aside some time to do nothing but listen to it, just to hear all of the strange stuff that you aren't really sure is there.
I've spent a fair amount of money on entertainment in the last year, but this is by far the best $12 I've spent in that year.
