Is there a chance Abe's will allow us to choose warp?

This isn't a L8 warping is better than L7 thread. I'm just wondering is the Abes are going to allow users to choose which warp method we'd like to use (i.e., L7 versus L8 way)? For me, the L7 method of warping is better for certain material including acapellas. I don't understand why Abes won't simply let us choose which method we'd like to use? I like the L8 method, but more choices are usually better.

you CAN warp the old style way by holding shift on either transients or set warp markers
