Any solvent you use has a chance of leaving abrasive marks.

the akai and ableton logos on it are a little bit distasteful....but thats advertising i guess everyone does it either way i wont be doing this to mine...it will probably wear of through use eventually

what grafix? There is hardly possible to read what each button does in the dark..

this thread is so silly. youre worried about the looks of the midi controller before it has even come out? they really have this thing hyped beyond belief. :roll:

If you are really that worried, and to be honest, I really don't see the point, it isn't any more offensive than other bits of kit, but why not just put black pvc (electrical) tape over the graphic, or white and then you could write any notes you may need on it with sharpie!
It doesn't leave to bad a residue, well nothing that can't be cleaned off easily enough, and it doesn't get in the way, it is dirt cheap, it won't destroy the equipment and it won't void your warrenty.
