@ STRATEGY:

Thanks man! I hope this next decade is a little easier than the last. BTW, i've mentioned this a bunch lately, but you might have missed it, i'm bound for Oakland at the end on august. Don't know exactly where i'll be living yet, but maybe we'll be neighbors.

I actually did miss that, definitely hit me up when you get out here. You can show me how to use Live or something.

I promise that if you end up being my neighbor, I will not put on my Kangol, Cazals, fat laces & gold chains and sneak up your balcony and rob you.

Uh oh. Oakland has an overabundance of the 2 things we should fear the most: Hip Hop and black men entering their own house. 8O

not sure yet. moving with a friend, we'll get all that sorted in the next couple weeks. might end up crashing with some of our other people out there for a minute. I've lived in some really fucked up places before so i'm not worried about that.

What is Edan up to these days ?

His last show in Sydney 2004 (?) was pretty cool.
Beat juggling with one hand while kicking mad picturesque lyrics.
Then the live glitching with the delay pedal on his mic was tight too.
And Dagah with his glam-rock wig was funny funny shit.

Mad show.
Probly the best show ive ever seen. still.

I expected him to 'blow up' into something pretty big after i saw that... still do.

I was in north Oakland last year ...
3 murders in 5 months within 4 blocks of my house.

Just after fourth of july i heard some firecrackers and
went down the store for milk ...
bullets all over the road and CSI marking the shells.
Guy got nailed by an automatic in his car n drove about 5 blocks to
the hospital to die.

I got stalked by a couple of nasties in a low rider and had to run through backyards to get home one night...

It is 'sort of' safe but dont be suprised if you get gangked while your not looking.
It is Oakland and its pretty well documented what life is like there.

@beats me, I do have the same feeling over the Hip Hop thing. I guess what makes the Hip-hop listeners do some shady activities is their attitude. I mean, a hip-hop listener or a fanatic has this certain attitude equipped into him while embracing Hip Hop into his system. You see, if a normal person likes pop or house music, nothing is really into that person, whereas those who worship rock and hiphop, it affects the way they dress up, especially hip-hop people, they wear those big clothes, baggy pants and bling bling and stuff. I guess let us just understand that choosing those kind of music affects their lifestyle.
