if tiple is comparable with the word vice... don't know excactly what tiple means, but guessing after your post...

i love alcohol

though that ardbeg atuff tastes absolutely rank.

the mrs is always giving me grief for nicking her booze after she's gone to bed. she came back from a trip to scotland with a bottle of ardbeg and she had it for ages as i wont go near it, even when i've run out of everything else

my tipple? wine, beer, caipirinhas, spanish or portuguese brandy (especially maciera)

Nice choice ;] It appears you Berliner's have good taste in Whisky ;] As far as I remember the Ardbeg has a hint of salt, due to the distillery being near the coast, and the sea wind carries the sea moisture onto the land, and into the water which is used to make the Whisky... so you get a hint of salt?

Now you mention it... um, not really... :) ...but it's my current favourite after moving on from the Laphroaigs and Talisker which have become overly smoky for me now... Oban's nice though, too...
