[OT] Anything to do in Croydon, UK?

First off, apologies for posting in General - I know this should technically be in Local, but I never had much luck there...

So I'm stuck in sunny Croydon on a training course for this week (11th-15th May) and next week (18th-22nd May) - I'm going home to Bristol at the weekend as I really can't bear to be here for the weekend as well.

The question is... Is there anything to do here in the evenings? I guess I'd be prepared to get a train into the city for something really good...

I'm interested particularly in anything involving live electronic music, especially anyone who's using Live, and even more so any forum users!!

Set me up guys!

there used to be a good record store called Beanos in Croydon. Don't know if it's still there. I'm a long way from there now!
