I've had them on top of much larger, much less shielded speakers than these without any problems. However, they just went there tonight, and I am going to put some dense foam in there, because I have a tendency to crank when I'm mixing.

exactly. btw, the "goodies" are tobacco. The weed is out of frame. :|

edit: still trying to figure out what's wrong with the concrete blocks under foam-padded speakers...I guess I should dig through the foundation and pour concrete posts down to bedrock? I've been a little surprised looking through the pictures that people don't try to get more mass under their monitors.

Yeah, the thing that sucks is that I can't run double monitors on the mini, or I'd have even more. :)

It's a 2.0 core2duo...just one full-size DVI in the back. Pretty excellently solid machine for the money though, I must say. I had a first-gen one a few years ago, and while it was incredibly stable, it was unbearably slow, even with a fast memory/fast hard drive upgrade.

meet Lamont, my stuffed animal cat and some new additions
Image

new HD widescreens on adjustable arms.. I got the arms from the IT department.. always make good friends with them.. I happen to buy this guy a few beers.. They switched a workstation at work to triple 30 inch lcds (microscopy use) so they had no use for the dual arm..

battle style bitches!! up to 90 scenes..

new stand for maschine w/ extenable side table for the liquid mix.. this might be good for the APC also as it is height and tilt adjustable, and turns 360 degrees.. good on stage.. rods are fully adjustable to secure many sizes.

graphics done by style flip.. i was told that apc templates are coming out!!

my attempt at macro shots and special effects.. experienced photographers disregard the cheesy factor..

Hey nuxnamon,

what kind of music comes out of such a gear collection? Looks like you are visiting the Matrix every day...:-)

Cheers, Esky
