Wish I could keep plants alive in my studio, even low light ones never seem to do well...

My studio is just too dark most of the time I fear, never liked a really bright studio.

It's a very straightforward virtual analog synth that has great a great, full sound.
I like how simple/straightforward the layout is for programming, my goal is to get better at designing my own sounds and I think the simplicity will help me.

played a bit with it at MusikMesse Frankfurt/Germany this year and had a nice talk with the guy from Roland about it. Its a really nice synth and you'll have a lot of fun with it!!!!

re.mark, you're a manc ain't ya? They've got one in Dawson's on Portland Street that they'll let you play with, I had a right rave with it on my lunchtime the other day; it sounds pretty sweet, kind of like a slightly fatter version of Sylenth1 with a rather nice supersaw waveform.

My only complaint would be the lack of flexibility in the LFO patching, and the apparent lack of ability to share the LFOs between ocsillators, but the fact that you can patch it to 3 places at once with seperate faders is quite cool. Oh, and no chorus

^^ So you just velcro the pedals to a board right?

I've seen one with a power strip and mini patch buy built right on to the board, all of it fit into it's own bag with the pedals still on it

@outershpongolia - Yeah, just got a ton of industrial strength velcro, slapped the hook side on a Pedal Train Pro (awesome pedalboards with great cases!).
@Homebelly - The M9 is awesome. I had somewhere around $1000 worth of pedals leave that board because I got it. The modulation is great, delays, reverbs and filters are all awesome. I was actually quite pleasantly suprised by the drives as well - however for overdrive distortion and fuzz, its all about analog

As for power, I have a Voodoo Labs Pedal Power II+ underneath (pedaltrains come with mounting brackets for these power supplies, another plus!), with a small power strip coming off out of its courtesy outlet for the wall-warts (M9, Hog, and MF101 - soon replacing the mf101 supply)

Here are some pics of my setup and new desk. My wife and I live in a studio in NYC and I had to come up with a solution where I had access to all of my gear but she didn't have to look at it all day. Why doesn't she think gear looks as cool as we do???? Here is my solution, I put all of the gear on sliding shelves so it can pull out for easy use.

i had the same, but i pushed myself through, so to speak, now she is used to it and doesn't even recognise it anymore...

but i can tell you it was a fight in the beginning.
