I have been procrastinating my own build for years now, so believe me any possible angle and design has been thoroughly tried and tested, which leaves me with the same experience as yours. Currently working on getting my mind around a QRD diffusor for the rear wall, and that's not even very hard!
WIll show when done :-)
I'm thinking about a portable trap to place in the rear of the room. I may even buy something from GIK this time as I see they have pre-made stands available.

Looking forward to seeing your finished traps :)

:D

Cats does indeed react very interestingly to some high pitched noises, but this one seems to like low freqs too!!

Yesterday I've had really fun times tweaking the Tetra through the Jmox T-resonator, and I suddenly noticed some strange sounds, not coming from the synth/fx... but from my cat, that was just behind me, like singing/growling/meeeeeeowing accordingly to the larsens generated from the jomox...

CATS ARE GREAT

I have a dog howling/singing during a take. I think I still have the wav. I didn't del it because it was in key to the track and had a nice groove to it. If I find it I'll post it.

living abroad at the mo, and do prefer cats to dogs. Only thing I miss from being at home was having a midi keyboard and mic but I can definitely cope without.

Check the budget 'treatment' 8)

tlennon - It's a real chore for sure, one of those things I put off for ages. But it looks so much nicer now, was well worth it.

fatrabbit- Yes those are Opals, and they are amazing. I'll maybe do a write up on them once they are fully broken in and I've had more time with them.

It's on the performance/DJ table to the right of the Xone62 you can barely see in that pic. Still have that, the MPK25, and the Machinedrum, they're just not in this pic.
