I don't get where your sweet spot is? You've got your arm rests quite low and then the speakers pointing up. From this picture it looks like you've got your sweet sot around a foot above your head...

This is my setup from last month, as the opening act for Zebbler Encanti Experience.

The Motu Mk3 Ultralite Audio Interface is mounted under the laptop shelf of this Odessey Black Label Rack Case. The Monitors you see are Roland DS-5's and do not move with the setup. At the bottom of the pic one can observe the locking roll out rack shelf added. On in sits the Roland SH-32 Synth that is controlled with a Misa Kitara (touch pad midi guitar, not in picture) and M-Audio Keystation 32 connected to an iconnectMidi midi interface (which connects EVERYTHING). There is a midi hub (just mentioned), USB hub, audio hub (Motu interface previously mentioned), and power hub Rack. This setup creates a music system with three levels of interaction that all slide closed quickly and locks tight easily. This rack series is designed for travel (flight series case) so it is plane/train/car ready . I move this setup twice a week, for a residency, and an FM Dubstep Radioshow (plus various gigs, house parties, jam sessions, etc.)

I call it the Mobile Hybrid.
I am Dr. M. Solo artist, member of 86BiTz, host of the Perfect Glitch Show, & the Live Jam Video Stream. Music on Soundcloud and BandCamp. Jam Archive on Patreon•••• I master audio & produce video of all of the above as Tremendm Labs on YouTube.

Finally got my new desk finished and set up in the studio. Has two modes, one in a lower position for my mastering work and any critical listening on the Opals, and one in a higher position using the HR824's for when I prep my live material or record DJ sets:
