Tone Deft it's Piece.. not peace (except when we are talking about "Death of a Disco Dancer") :-)

I get your comment and it's an understandable point of view. My goal is to share things I have written that others find helpful or inspiring. I figure it's better to post and help some people instead of not post out of fear of ridicule from a few (which by now you know I'm fine with).

In order to share my information, I have one of 2 choices.

1. Post a link to my Blog when I have something new posted

OR

2. Post the article in full on the forum so they never have to leave and go to my website to read it elsewhere.

I've been attacked for doing both, and since I don't plan on leaving this forum out when I have something to share, all the haters have to decide which is the more tolerable. Or maybe I should leave the haters out of the equation and just ask the people who actually enjoy what I write.

This forum can be kind of "clickish" regardless if anybody will admit to it or not. If your name was TITBAG (no offense), you would be praised regardless of content..I just don't agree with people coming of very confrontational and talking smack when your just trying to help..
totally disagree. if that was true ALL posters with low post counts would get this treatment, but they don't. there's no evidence that supports your conclusion. you feeling left out? need a hug?

HEY NEB!!! nux needs a manhug.

that 'Lord Of The Flies' stuff does pop up, this ain't it. if anything people have stepped up to support this guy because they are familiar with him, so the opposite of what you're describing is true.

there's the idea of a blog - one person speaks, many listen. then there's the idea of a forum - many people speak at once. making long posts about yourself with broad sweeping statements about music when nobody asked you for your opinion doesn't fly on a forum. it's a style thing.

innerstatejt - I've said my peace, I don't mean to be a hater.
we'll agree to disagree, simple as that  .. but i think it's pulsoc that needs a hug because he was the one that showed hostility.. Everyone has an opinion but I don't think Pulsoc had to bring in the negative vibe in order to express his thoughts. He was the one I was mainly talking about. I say have them settle it like the old days and battle it out w/ their laptops. Seriously. BTW, I took your recipe and added this chipotle sauce that my friend's wife made.. kick ass.. I'll take that hug now Neb.. :D

This is what I'd do. The haters will continue to hate regardless of whether you're around to take the brunt of it. Plenty of other people will line up behind you to get abused. Meanwhile, those who get something positive out of what you do will continue to benefit if you stick around. I've never met anyone that's liked by everyone.

dunno about that, a quick google shows the matter to be ambiguous.

I do love wordplay though (part of what can make a forum fun.)

I might say 'peace' when I mean I've made peace with you and am resting on that.
I might say 'piece' when I simply mean I've said something and am leaving it at that.

I doubt 99% of the population would notice, not that it matters when people can't get they're, their and there correct and don't care to.

I'm in basic agreement with Nux. I prefer your posts to the threads on retarded unlabeled youtubes any day.

You win on that one Tone.. I had to google that..beautiful tune.

I looked around a bit, I'm not a big Elvis Costello fan. surely you've seen his TV show 'Spectacle'? brilliant.

music geek's wet dream. he interviews people and plays tunes with them.

no, missed that one!! I think Sir Elton is listed as a producer. the Police one was cool as was the Lou Reed, loved the part where he lays down the CORRECT way to play Sweet Jane.
