This is just tragic...

Post by MrTiddles » Fri May 22, 2009 2:42 pm

...got signed yesterday, and I'm also being offered gigs. But I have to sell studio gear to pay for my rent!

And some c*nts robbed my family home and pinced my dead mum's jewelery last night.

Pub anyone?!

Shitty buzz, holmes. Congrats on the signing tho.
But seriously, don't sell gear to pay the RENT ....that's crazy. It doesn't solve the problem, considering the nature of RENT, it only buys you...what...a month ? ....

The music biz isn't what it used to be, there's no cash in it! Got a load of training for 'proper' work, which going to take a couple of months to finish, which is gonna cost me. But it'll be worth in the long run. The deal is for 2 tracks, and they (Couture) are waiting on a 3rd.

I've kit in another studio that I'm trying to extract but I'm being dicked around. P*ssed off, as I lent my DIGI002 to my mate and I found out last week that he's 'loaned' it to someone else. I need that back so I can sell off my Mackie desk.

This all sounds like I'm bitching (which I am) but I'm still in a great mood!

Damn I love this forum!

If it makes you feel any better, I'm unsigned and a Leeds fan.

I would kick him in the balls, or at least not lend him anything ever again. I can't stand it when people re-lend stuff of mine  Congratulations on getting signed!
