I was hoping some one here could help me with my little annoying problem. I have a folder of maybe 60-70 pdfs I need to study and they all have long names: same beginning and very similar if not the same ending. I need to be able to see the whole name of the file so I can differentiate them with out opening/closing needless ones and I was wondering if one of you guys know how to do this. thanks in advance.

Re: Non-audio Os-X help needed
actually either list or column view. there's a grippy slider at the bottom right of the column; just move it over.

Re: Non-audio Os-X help needed
Hold ALT while dragging and it'll expand all columns and leave that width as your default next time you open Finder.

Nocturne:
A simple app for switching a computer to night vision mode. It does, however, add a few things:
Proper color correction in monochrome modes - you don't lose all your blues or reds when you tint the screen.
Window shadow toggling - if glowing windows aren’t your thing.
Background removal - hide the desktop picture so you don’t see a inverted version.

I use a dark skin on Live, which is turned blinding beige by the negative effect. Agh!
