:? Yeah it seems so crazy. My first reaction was foul play, but the more I read, The more I think he harbored a deep depressive inferiority complex about his career compared to the like of clint Eastwood, Charles bronson, and others....

Sad!

I think it's another case of that sexual asphyxiation thing

the rather unreliable Daily Mirror says:
Police said Carradine, who also starred as Bill in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill films, had been dead for at least 12 hours. There was no sign of a fight or a suicide note. Police refused to rule out a sex game had caused his death. One officer said: “A cord was attached to his neck and genitals. We don’t think anybody else was involved.”
and the BBC site said the same thing until it was changed to this by a nervous editor
Thai police told the BBC a hotel maid found the 72-year-old naked in a wardrobe with a cord around his neck and other parts of his body.
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/entertainment/8083479.stm

"other body parts". Yeah, that clears it right up.

Anyway, I don't judge him for being into that.
At least he went out doing something he loved eh?

I want to die like that, in a swimming pool of lime jell-o with Tosca on the stereo.

i still suspect foul play. he just didn't seem like the type. it's not like he's been out of work and broke for the last 20 years, ya know? he's got like 5 or 6 projects in post production right now. and he was supposedly in bangkok filming a movie.

McQ - I guess I could throw some pineapple rings in there, maybe a few grapes.

you know if I was going to go own my own free will, i wouldn't hang myself.. I would do the carbon monoxide thing and sit back in my car, light a fat joint while listening to my favorite track.. which begs the question, what track would you listen to if it was your last moments.. mine would be tracks from the "liquid mind" series made by chuck wild.. I couldn't see myself ending on a 4/4 track..

To david, you've led a great life and touched many lives I am sure.. I watched all your Kung Fu episodes.. your at peace now.. tell my dad i said wassup...

I hate when the media start bringing terms like "Suicide" into these kinds of stories.
This is exactly what happened with Michael Hutchins.
Then every other ding dong jumps up and says.."Well, i suspect foul play,,, he just didn't seem the type"
WTF does that mean?
I've seen Carradine in dozens of films.
I saw INXS more times than i can count. Hell! I even got stoned and drunk with MH one time,,
But i would never profess to know the guy.

He was found in a closet with a rope around his neck and his dingaling...
The guy was into some shit..
Leave it at that and call it what it probably was.

I agree all the way, cant go out on a basic 4/4 while hanging, I'd go skydiving/skydying, I'd play teardrop by massive attack, really beautiful track to go out to while refusing to pull my cord on the parachute.
