Cheers. Out of interest, say they were to make an APC-40v2, from your usage so far, how could they make it better?

I was on the fence about getting one of these, but now i'm pretty well hooked after being a member of you're site and seeing how you use one and your feedback

Motorized Faders, all the Pads made with OLEDs, so that you always see their assignment, the knobs aswell and not to forget the OLED Pads need to be touch sensitive like MPC Pads....but i guess this type o gear would be quite expensive
Back O.T.: Love your reviews COSM, it was interesting to see the Vid. Way more Eye Opening than those Official Vids floating araound the Net.

Thanks a lot Tom - great review as allways...
Re: My super duper in depth review of the APC40
sorry, too generic for me - there's not much beyond the general product description we've had since january
for instance, there is not a word about remapping controls, which buttons are hardwired and which are not. i dont need pan for gigs, dont need transport, etc.. we all know that we can remap apc40 controls (which?), but it was disappointing to read such a long review without getting any real details

write your own "perfect" reviews or stfu...
Tom does this for free, offers information for people who appreciate his effort in writing a detailed summary from his pov and not for you complaining d*ckheads
even though there wasnt much new info in his review i found it quite informative for people who arent up to date like most technerds on here

yea, well4.33 wrote:easy there buddy, that's called feedback

then maybe ask yourself if your feedback is somewhat helpful or just a "generic" rant...
but well i was overreacting, sorry for that
Re: My super duper in depth review of the APC40
I'm surprised at how the 'track control' works, it really doesn't fit it with how I work.
EG: Having a rigid button assignment to 'pan' (which I don't ever use live), that is wasted on me.
But I do need a great deal of control over the return channels, because I have a lot of different devices in there which need modulating. The APC seems to give no control over return channels.
It's a shame that the APC doesn't account for the different ways that people work.
The clip matrix is the only common ground we all have, and probably the 'device control'. The other controls on the APC are not right for me.
