i have a question, is there an option in ableton live that u could disable velocity on recording midi tracks? like disabling the sensitivity of keys so that the volume of all the instruments in impulse could be equal? thank you...
Re: guys,i really need your help on this one...
The option should be with your keyboard. If you are using the keys on your computer those should already be at a fixed velocity...no?

Try the Velocity effect.
Re: guys,i really need your help on this one...
yes, in most keyboards you'll find such a setting but you might also find the midi effect "velocity" helpful: slapping this on a track allows you to modify all velocity values coming from the input or the midi clip before they hit the next plugin.

edit: some seconds too late... ah, and if you only care for impulse: there's a velocity setting for every drum slot.

im using m-audio ozone btw... i really wish there's a way i could disable the "key stroke" sensitivity in my keyboard.

if i remember right: search for velocity offset in your m-audio manual.

hmmm what would be the ideal value for the offset? (likely a feel that sensitivity is disabled)
