I've got the album from GESCOM they initially released on minidisc only. It's meant to be played on random play so you get a new and unique piece of music every time you listen. The minidisc format offers no pauses between tracks on random play. Very cool album idea.

Apparently ProjeKct Three did the same on a 1999 CD.

I've been lovin on gescom for ages now, if you ask me they have some of the most interesting experimental stuff you can find ANYWHERE.

that first track is oozing with awesomeness

their stuff always sounds like cassette to me, or maybe it's a lot of lofi sampling work, either way it's a testament to lofi for sure
It was as if someone shook up a 6 foot can of blood soda and suddenly popped the top.

Pretty much anything on Skam records is the shiznit, although it doesn't seem like they are putting out much anymore - their news link says releases coming this month, so hopefully something soon...

Also, Phoenicia (aka Soul Oddity) is a great listen if you're into Gescom -

on schematic records (home of Otto Von Schirach, Dino Philipe, Jeswa, Kiyo, Richard Devine, o9, Secret Frequency Crew, and others...)
