Piracy

Post by hurlingdervish » Sun Jun 21, 2009 11:17 pm

its quite apparent that piracy has made artists careers and filled up the clubs when they play.

yet people who run labels still shit their pants when someone uploads tracks for free.

Sorry, my bad! Your desire for click data only wasn't initially stipulated so I was unsure. I will vote now so you can continue unabated.

What on earth does "Internet Poll", and "quantifiable data" have to do with each other?

Seeds should feed you if planted properly. My Dad had a huge raspberry bush out in the back, and as a kid I got many of those little prickles stuck in my hands. Great raspberries though. Happy fathers day.

guess it's a necessary thread to have over and over again on a music forum.

which side should we argue this time?

OP - who are 'they'? I can't use the poll.

wish the system was set up so you could send money directly to the artist. I do not wanna help some asshole label owner pay the insurance for his 5 ferrari.

he made fun of my signup date. I don't wanna play with you anymore.

I was supporting you, better this than a thread on racism, for example.

is piracy good for music? I guess so, you always see them singing in the movies. I wanna be a pirate, I don't want to go to work tomorrow.
