I have to admit, the default skin is my favorite.
Some of those are pretty obnoxious, though, eh?
Which skin do you prefer?

default, by far, is the easiest on my eyes. and yes, some of the included ones can cause severe eye strain and anger and stress.

Default for me too...
I find the other ones (excluding a few exceptions) too 'tecnoish' and rather kitsch.

i agree 100%. they're just too bright and distracting for the most part.

My new fave: Metal
I dunno, it reminds me of a 70's racecar.
Smokey grey with a mild yellow highlight colour. Yummy.
mbp 2.66, osx 10.6.8, 8GB ram.

monolake did some skins during the Live 4 beta.
i prefer the # 17 skin. its similar to the default skin, but has a soft brown background so it gives it kind of an organic feel.

Calcium and Concrete are the only ones that don't make my eyes puke.

i've been using 'midnight' (or mono 1) lately, and am quite enjoying it late at night with the lamp on.

I just loaded up "Laser" and tried to work in that one. Sweet Jumpin' Jesus that's a harsh skin.

I totally agree with AdamJay. mono17 is very warm and easy on the eyes. cool thing about those skins is that you can change it, which makes working with the application a great pleasure.
