Show up fine here.StompyJ wrote:cosign on the lessons.

Re: Abes Team: Thank you for Samplification
What are they called?
Maybe the other four lessons for samplification are just the general sampler lessons (introduction in sampler, etc.) ?

Re: Abes Team: Thank you for Samplification
Hi folks,
For those of you who are having problems finding the new lessons:
Because these are installed as part of an add-on pack (rather than as part of the application), they appear in a different place in the Help View.
In the Lessons section on the front page of Help View, you should see a link that refers to add-on or third-party Live Packs. Clicking this should show the five lessons that were installed with the Samplification pack. These are called:
Introducing Sampler
Sampler Preset Showcase
Synthetic Sounds, Acoustic Samples
Acoustic Sounds, Synthetic Samples
Exploring the Samplification Pack
Please let me know if you have further questions.
Thanks,

Hello Dennis,
Yes, I've followed these instructions, and I still don't see them. If I navigate to the live 8 library folder in finder (I'm on OS X Leopard btw), I can see the lessons directory there. But when I click the link like you're suggesting, I see nothing. I will try and take screenshots tonight.
Worst case I'll just find them on disk and read 'em.

Found the issue. The lessons don't show up if you don't own sampler, but are running in authorized mode.
Since I don't own sampler, I restarted Live in demo mode, and I can see them fine now.

Re: Abes Team: Thank you for Samplification
Samplification is not what it seemed first step out of the (downloaded) box. Some of these instruments can be twisted and pulled into entire pieces...even the drum kits... damn. I literally mean one Instrument Rack preset with tonnes of automation and nothing more can go a long way. I've been playing with the abrasive ambient patches for hours now and there is a whole track of material here. What a fantastic idea with these instrument racks, i have to say in general. I am enjoying the hell out of Samplification. THANK YOU very much for this pleasantly inspiring gift!
