:-) lol operator is 99.-
max for live would have to be 999 than.. or rather 9999
It's 99 euros for Max 5 owners and 159 euros retail. For US dollars, 145 US for Max owners and 235 US retail price.

I think I get the low price.

For Cycling74:

Ableton's community will provide the perfect environment for people to become comfortable with max msp, and eventually a large enough number of Live users will want full Max licenses make to make it worthwhile.

For Ableton:

Most Live buyers will purchase this eventually. This truly is the Reaktor-preset-market-killer.

The post right above you.
Shortcut for the english speaking crowd.

THe prices are niiice!

In Euro: 99 upgrade from Max/MSP 159 full!
Current USD roughly: 145 upgrade 235 full

This will probably be a little off from reality, but I bet not by much! 8)

ableton hasnt announced the price though, thats my point

i can tell you that im selling max 4 live for 20 bucks, but that doesnt mean thats going to be the price

if these are the prices then this website leaked the prices, if they arent then its just another rumored price much like the last 5 pages

either way, no where on the ableton website is there a price posted, so ableton hasnt announced the price yet

Bingo!
This happens all the time with new products. I'm never sure if it's to create a stir or not? but I've never seen a leaked price be more than a tiny amount off from the official price. :)

Arrrgh! youngins!

A company slipped and posted the prices they were told Max 4 Live would be, this happens all the time, it's a pretty cool thing as I've never seen this happen where it was posted at much lower prices than what the company will officially be selling the product for street price wise.
Trust me on this, 90% or more of the time this is a great way to get a close approximate range on the price.

I respect your feelings and opinion, but your point isn't that relevant. We can all go to Ableton or Cycling 74's websites and see that officially they haven't announced pricing and I wasn't intending to make you wrong when I quoted you, just to point out that a solid clue has surfaced. A very solid clue indeed! :D
