John 'moneybags' Gordon, probably paid $99.99 for his blow job, the skanks in his hood only asked for $9.99 but as he is so loaded, he gave them a 90 dollar tip (literally)

i have max5 and l8 suite - both EDU version - so i hope i can buy m4l EDU below 50 eur...because the only thing i buy in this case as a plus is the live interface...
am more afraid of its bugginess than its price... ableton is just like that nowadays

I bet it's going to be closer to the price of MAX as a standalone...so is that $499?

No way this is being sold for less than $199. Max is a beast of a software. I'd rather expect it to be in the $299-ish range. It would be nice if they offer a cheaper runtime-based version for those guys and gals who only want to use ready-made patches. This could go for $99. But from what I understand, it's only possible to buy the full package.

I think some people are kind of missing their aim. A full educational license of max/ msp/ jitter is $250-ish.
Regardless, mfl is about scale. Cycling is going to sell 40 times more mfl licenses the they have w/ standalone max. It should be pretty cheap.

LOL at consumers saying things should be cheap.
max/msp is some heavy hitting software, it's not something like Bomes.
$500.
aim high, if it's lower you'll have saved some moolah.

Cycling isn't selling anything besides Max directly to consumers. Max for Live is an Ableton product.

From what I understand, M4L is the result of a collaboration between Cycling'74 and Ableton. I'm sure they will pool the profits.

$259 dollars for me. I saw it on my dream. If you don't agree, then dream that you don't agree.
Equipments: Softwares, hardwares, plastics and metal controllers, computers, headphones, a pair monitor speaker, and electricity to power them up.

i was assuming this was going to be 299 plus at least...for what it does im sure its not going to be to cheap as all these people are hoping for. They just want it to be cheap so they can afford it, otherwise there going to have to pinch those pennies out for m4live. i do also hope its expensive...just to laugh about it.
