merging one set w/ another/ live5

Post by randrohe » Thu Jul 16, 2009 5:53 pm

Hello,
I need to bring one live set into another without rendering to a stereo mix.( i need to maintain control of the individual tracks until mixdown). If I remember correctly, this is possible. I am now going to search the forum, but I thought someone would want to chime in and save the day. This is for a guy I'm recording who has actually become quite a pita. It's been over year and I need to wrap this dude up. He basically wants his cd to seamlessly transition from one song to the next without pause....Any pointers on this in general?

Thanks in advance,
Rand

open the new set, go into the Live browser and find the old set. open the folder and drag and drop whatever you need into the new set.

Thanks Tone for the quick reply. Will this bring automation, panning and fx w/ it? This is where the years work lies.
Thanks again
