Reaktor Sine beats (saving seq)
Reaktor Sine beats (saving seq)
Komplete 5 finally arrived the other day, after spending a few hours installing and up dating I'm finally digging into Reaktor.
My question is how do i save the sequences and sounds that I make in Sine beats? I tried saving ensamble but it doesn't same my sequences, tried snapshot but didn't save my seq. Right now I am just recording everything to audio because as soon as I stop Sine beats and start it again all of my work is gone
Thanks people

Re: Reaktor Sine beats (saving seq)
I just had a look and you should be able to find the answer on page 65 of the Reaktor 5 Instrument Guide. It seems Sinebeats handles snapshots in it's own unique way -
'The snapshot system is a new feature of Sinebeats 2, enabling you to store and recall snapshots from within the patch. The most intriguing feature of this module is the [snap via key] function. When this is active you can trigger complete stored sequences including all sound units via incoming MIDI note data. This happens glitch-free and in real-time. Use it to trigger Sinebeats sequences in a live situation via a MIDI controller. You can also trigger sequences from another sequencer.'
Hope this helps.

Re: Reaktor Sine beats (saving seq)
You need to save both the snapshot and the ensemble.

That's, like, really vague, ew
Re: Reaktor Sine beats (saving seq)
Yeah- probably because there's been numerous threads about options.txt in the forum.
Create a .txt file and name it options. Have this as the text:
-_EnsureKeyMessagesForPlugins
Put it in your Live's preferences folder. Done.

Re: Reaktor Sine beats (saving seq)
Well thanks for the clarification.
Re: Reaktor Sine beats (saving seq)
Thanks again EW and Mac murphy, I wasn't aware of the text issue (normally in live when I create patches for my VST's I just name them in a separate folder and not in the vst) I actually thought it was something to do with the preferences in the reaktor vst (as stand alone there was no problems with inputting text).
Thanks again guys.
