Speak & Spell plug-in?
Are there any 'speak & spell'-esque plugins out there? I've got a gig in two weeks, and really want some Radiohead 'Fitter, Happier' type vocal sounds going on...

This thread makes me want to go back in time and sample the very first software voice synth I ever played with:

or, just to throw another idea in...
(although I realise you're just gonna use text to speech now)
AnalogX Say-It is pretty good. Or ShitTalker if you can still get it (I think I still have a copy somewhere).

Also, there was a Puremagnetik live pack (I think it was called "bender") that had a patch with the entire alphabet from a speak 'n spell. It did not have the words or phrases, but you can pick those older packs up for a reasonable price from puremagnetik's site.

oh, and yea (i guess i should have read the OP more carefully). download this free program called "cakehole" on ur mac. I'm pretty sure it has a very close replica of the fitter happier voice, as well as many others. and, you can export them as .wav files.

I just got Circuit Bent Speak & Spell, for free. I think I just signed up for puremagnetic, and got it in their free download packs.
