reason home studio combo

hey i have recently bout ableton live 8 as my recording software, i also brought massive and propeellerheads studio combo, it says i require Reason itself to use the studio combo, is this true or can i run it through ableton? is there also a way where i can use studio combo as a standalone program? it did not come with a manual or anything. thanks any help will be great

It is correct that you need Reason to use the Studio Combo...
