Re: Snow Leopard Watch (compatibility page)
I wondered about compatibility before purchasing Snow Leopard (OS 10.6)

If you care about making music on your computer I would strongly suggest waiting a little bit before upgrading

or just be sure to make a clone and test it first. it's running good for me. cleaned up 13 GB of drive space on my root drive. no difference in live's performance either way.

Anyone know if The Abes plan on any updates to Live to take advantage of Grand Central Dispatch?

Re: Snow Leopard Watch (compatibility page)
installed snow leopard today (i like the trenches)
so far so good
havent run into a single problem yet
testing my full live setup tomorrow and we will see how it does
no official anything but it seems quicker, ableton loads freakishly fast (4 seconds from click to default set)

Cool, thanks for the update - would be interesting to hear what plug-ins/additional software/drivers you are running to see if they are working ok.zalo wrote:installed snow leopard today (i like the trenches)

Interesting about the speed - according to the Ableton Snow Leopard sticky, Live doesn't support Open CL, so I wonder why it would run faster...? Were you low on disk space maybe?

still have to do "get info".
live doesn't run any better for me. it did clear up 13 GB off of my root drive. ad block doesn't work in 64 bit safari tho
Re: Snow Leopard Watch (compatibility page)
Safari has adblock? I must've missed this one... no reason to stay with Firefox now... excellent.doc holiday wrote:ad block doesn't work in 64 bit safari tho
