Have you ever try to open your project done with beta on 8.0.4???commuter wrote: i have to rely on the beta , i can't go back to 8.04, because i've started some tracks with the beta...so i'm stuck....
though the Abes tell that we can't open files created with the beta on the previous release [here is 8.0.4] In fact we can!
Re: Next Live 8.0.5 beta: Live 8.0.5b11!
the problem is the beta introduced a fix in 8.05 concerning fabfilter products...though the Abes tell that we can't open files created with the beta on the previous release [here is 8.0.4] In fact we can!
but thanks anyway will check it......

If you duplicate the set and take a careful look at the file using a text editor (first add .txt after .als) you might be able to delete fab filter instances from it manually (with some trial and error.)commuter wrote:the problem is the beta introduced a fix in 8.05 concerning fabfilter products...though the Abes tell that we can't open files created with the beta on the previous release [here is 8.0.4] In fact we can!

I wish there was a reference guide for how to manipulate this information. It would save a lot of time for certain tasks, and would open some fascinating doors for max.

so far emulator x3 works great as a plugin in windows 7 and this version of live.
Anyone successful in running this version in windows 7 without compatibility mode yet? I'm scared to whiff my license again.

yEAH RIGHT but... the play button, midi mapped on the play scene won't work right.Alex wrote: The AKAI MPD XX REW/FF buttons would not work when properly [5737]
If I choose to select next scene after having pushed play on the present scene, It simply don't work.
Once I've pushed Play, it remains Stucked on the selected scene and not want to move for the next one!
I've tried 8.0.4, 8.0.5b11, 7.0.16...
And I've tested on a 7.0.3 at a friend's home and it's working with no worries!
Really frustrating

i prfer more betas instead buggy main versions that are usually followed with big periods of no changes..

Try to delete the preferences in the system folder (not the whole folder just one file). After that you have set all settings again, but in wired issues of Live it helped me.greenscreens wrote:since beta 8.0.5b8 it has not even opened on my computer. crashes every time. does anyone have this issue. anyone know how to repair it? ive repaired my permissions and tried many things and it just wont open

You prefer a buggy main release instead?
3phase is so right.
