it does not change the fact that the software business sucks and it's a pure problem of attitude...

they are easily able to release stable and very bug free software, if they wanted to.

Bleeding edge, baby. I've been using it since Saturday with essentially no issues whatsoever, other than the fact that it broke my Oki printer driver...the fact that there's no replacement is most certainly Oki's fault, not apple's.

When I heard that ableton didn't want me to download it, that's when I made up my mind I definitely should download it. Lo and behold, it DOES make ableton work better! Twisted logic is my fucking friend.

Anyway, I don't see what's so incredibly bad in this article...you have to go public with the software at some point, and I have to say, this is a pretty great release, giving me back 10 gigs of hard drive and making everything noticeably snappier.

But it takes a while to print up the DVDs, they probably kept diddling with it all through that period, readying 10.6.1, and then having the larger pool of users' complaints lets them correct the most glaring problems right away.

Moan all you want - if Live 8 had been as solid right out of the box as Snow Leopard is, no one would be crying. I'm totally feeling it with 8.0.5...I've heard b93 is going to be the one!!!!1zomfg
