i've been searching around (for far too long tonight) for the firmware update for the MPD24 ver 1.09
Akai appears to have taken it out of their downloads section even on the legacy page for this unit.

anyone have that or have a good link to it that they'd be willing to share?

i switched to an iMac from Windows XP and the controller has been working intermittently at best. it no longer works in Live and i haven't been able to get it to work with Battery 3 at all. my google searches have been taking me around in circles and i know there happens to be a few of you in this thread who have an MPD24... so i was hoping one of you could help.

thanks in advance.

thanks. i'll give that a go.

Live 9's Drums to MIDI has already worked well for me so i can see the MPD24 gathering some dust, but i still want to have the option to use it. :x

the one forum that i found that had a link to it... required a password to download the file
