I had a fly trapped in my right headphone buzzing around inside. I didn't notice this until I pressed play. Initially thought the sound was cool but wasn't sure when I added buzzing noises to that particular peace.

I'm sorry we where talking about flies right?

When I was a kid we had painted turtles. Some of my earliest memories are of being in the back yard capturing flies with my parents harvesting flies for those turtles, who totally scarfed 'em up.

I have had a spider living in my lavatory for a bit, he minds his business and is out of the way so I let him stay. Today he is my hero - I noticed that he had caught one of these:

Those fuckers freak me out completely!

The thought of them running around my house at night really bugs me (yeah I said it).
8O what in the name of f**k almighty is that? ive never seen anything like that in my life. its 9.20 in the morning here and seeing that has just wrecked my work day. i feel utterly creeped out. im normally not too bad with creepy crawlies but if i saw one of those i'd squeal like a little girl

Yow, I was a bit reluctant to post that picture of the house centipede, but it is a kind of 'can't look away creepy' that I couldn't resist - I'm sorry if it spoiled anyones day!

Crashed alien vessels - man, that's funny!

Those monsters are anywhere from 1-10 cm, and they move fast, which may be the scariest thing about them! They are common in the Northeast and Midwest of the US, maybe elsewhere too. I may be seeing them more lately as I just moved into downtown Buffalo NY, and I could probably throw a frisbee into Lake Erie or the Niagara River from my roof. In the fall there is a week or two where sandflies proliferate, and they in turn seem to be food for all manner of other creatures, spiders, mice, horrifying alien centipedes, birds (there is a huge aviary on the abandoned former Bethlehem Steel site - which they are converting into a wind farm . . . wind farms and aviarys don't go together very well I would think).

Once in Wisconsin, I walked up to a house at dusk and went to ring the doorbell, and when I pressed it ran away! It was one of those freaky centipedes, looking in the semi-darkness like the doorbell . . . I had the willies for weeks!

Where I live, we've got these, giant centipedes.

WARNING they are the worst things in the world.

I'm now feeling jumpy just having watched a tiny bit of the vid, we had an invasion one day in my old flat, unreal.

^ :D They look even crazier standing on their hind 36 legs waving the rest around.

For what its worth - after I got done looking for outer worldly reckage and calmed down, I did a little research and I found out that they're not bad guys. They hunt other insects.. They do look incredibly hard core, but they're one of those good bugs like butterflies or house spiders - the kind that means all is well or its about to be... just as soon as they get done eating.

Those giant centipedes.... err yeah... I don't think I like those as much at least not anywhere that isn't defined as outside.

@ UKRuss :D the best bug sprays come in aerosol!

You keep leaving the soap on the shower floor, and it keeps getting gross and squishy, and then it just disappears. And this was my favorite soap-on-a-rope, and look at this...it's just rope.
That soap would be great for prison showers
