From totally out of left field today I get a message saying that some person named Madonna picked a track a mate and I made to to appear on her new compilation CD. W-T-F? It's out already and I had no idea until today! Has anyone heard of this Madonna chick before? Where does she get off doing that.

Edit: Just to make it more relevant, the entire track was done in Live

Obviously you didn't see that Daft Punk is on there. Now I can finally hang out with them and ask how to sound like them. Then I can come back here and answer 45% of the threads on this forum!

put a plastic bucket on your head and play old disco tunes through a vocoder.
45% of the threads? doesn't seem right when 75% of them are going to be about you.

Does that mean you can return the favor and include Borderline on your next album?
That's awesome news. Weird that she didn't bother to ask/get permission. Why is girls always playing games like that?

I think my favorite thing about this forum is seeing people who have been posting here for years get some mainstream exposure for their music.
To you and all the other artists on here who got something out of their hard work, good fuckin' job.

lol it's so funny. The label had no idea either! I just got an email from them saying that this was the most random thing in the world and how crazy it is that we have been playlisted "by fucking Madonna!".
The track was released over two years ago or so, with no real fanfare other than a charting on the Australian charts. It was our first track to try and hit the 'commercial' market, hence why TA isn't on there

Anyways, I'm sure it's up on beatport still:

edit: Yeah, it is

Good times!
