Killing time while on tour

Post by Beatport » Sun Sep 27, 2009 12:33 am

I'm starting to play outside my locale more and more. But can't seem to get into the swing of it. For instance, I played outside of dc a last week and didn't know anybody except the promoters. They brought me to the club super early and just hung out for 6 hours before I played. It was really boring. And I don't even drink.

I just got invited to play somewhere else now. The moneys good so I'll
most likely do it. But it will prob be the same thing of just
brooding around until I have to play. Just curious if this is normal or I should perhaps arrange to do things differently.

Bring a book? A Friend? Load Crysis on your laptop? Load some movies you wanted to watch but never had the time...

You cannot wait 6 hours just with iphone games, you need something more solid. I hope you get some kind of confortable rest room.

This morning I dont feel for work and the wife and kids are gone. Im gonna watch In The Loop, they say the screenwriting is excellent!

I am big on the gym thing. Gets you healthy, gives you energy, and you never know, you may meet a new friend or more. Also the local Indian buffet always does me right when in a new town.
