Hi Guys
In the the sampler instrument, one can adjust the loop start and end points using the mouse. however when i click on the midi assign button, clicking and moving a fader doesn't do anything in terms of being assigned to that parameter.
Does anyone here have a way of adjusting the loop start and end times using a midi assignable knob?
if not, maybe a way of automating its action?
thanks for any help
peace

just had a quick look and if you clcik on the midi tab of the sampler there are some options, the drop down box seems to list the peramiters your interested in, might be worth a read of the manual to figure out how to get the best out of it.

thanks for steering me in the right direction.
now.
i'm using the faders and knobs on an Akai MPD32, the midi option in sampler routes signals from mod wheels, foot controls, etc. how can i get say a knob on my Akai to modulate the desired settings.
once again, thanks for the help

Hey Guys,
I think i figured this one out.
Midi messages related to parameters such as modulation wheels, foot pedals etc are usually the same from device to device.
So
i went into the editor of my mpc, and changed the midi channel (i think thats what it's called) of the knob i wanted controlling the parameter change, until the little circle next to the parameter lit up.
if this is unclear, i can make and post a video.

Can you not jjst midi map your knob to the parameter you want to control?
