APC or Launch Pad?
Re: APC or Launch Pad?
I'm kind of interested to see if you will be able to use an APC & launchpads together. I like the APC because the knobs and sliders are cool and map well I want more than 8 columns, by adding 1 or 2 launch pads that might make the ideal setup!

Comparing it is just nonsense since they're both different products offered for different needs. But if I'd choose one, I'd get the APC ofcourse. But since I don't have too, I might as well get one of these Launchpad for extra grid and more lights...LOL

they are both attracting
Re: APC or Launch Pad?
If I could only have one I'd choose the APC, as it's more comprehensive. But the true answer is "both".

Re: APC or Launch Pad?
this just saves me, ive been looking for something that was just either more launch clips, so that was either going to result in me buying another apc40, or a monome, cept the monome is kinda expensive. Now there bringing out this, so i might just pick one up later after i get massive and a djm-400.

Re: APC or Launch Pad?
Wow where did this spring from, I'd love an APC40, but the price on this launchpad is just right. Should go well with my remote zero sl... in fact do i even need an APC40 with a remote zero and launchpad?
Re: APC or Launch Pad?
Launch Pad - it has all the bits from the APC I wanted. Very glad I cancelled my preorder (it was taking to long to arrive in my local Australian store!). Launchpad (x2 or 3) FTW! might get a LPD8 to go with it
Re: APC or Launch Pad?
Just got the newsletter and saw the video on this - Launchpad looks great. A couple of those in sync would be awesome! Of course, I also want the apc40, but I'm stoked they brought us another controller for launching and mixing!

That's the whole point!nebulae wrote:no knobs on launchpad
On my other controlers I have 17 faders (8 motorized), 16 3/4 knobs, 48 endless encoders, 8 drumpads, 86 keys, mod & pitchbend weels, dedicated transport controls and although there's also over 100 buttons combined, they're all over the place, instead of in an intuitive grid for lauching the clips.
So why would I want to spend an extra €250 for another 8 faders & 16 knobs?
2 of these would fit really nicely infront of my remote zero SL...Dimensions

Re: APC or Launch Pad?
The should have called it Lauchpad 64, a lot nicer to have 3 more rows!!!!!
Launchpad supports multiple brightness level which will be accesible from Max for Live so you/someone will be able to build a drum pad thing where you can at least set velocity levels.
