Is there anyway to automate the parameters in Reaktor ensembles?
I'm currently using Live 8 and I've not been able to do it with any ensemble.
Reaktor automation in Live8?
Re: Reaktor automation in Live8?
works ok for me
have you clicked the configure button?
if you have you might need to read the info here... http://www.ableton.com/pages/faq/vst_and_plugins
go to the bottom of the page where its says
Why aren't my third-party plug-ins working correctly with Live 8's Configure Mode?
i did what it says and some plugs that didn't work started to work
i didn't have reaktor back then so its always worked
btw do any reaktor people know if the snapshot morph slider is automatable?
thats the only thing i can't automate in reaktor/live 8

Re: Reaktor automation in Live8?
1) Make sure the parameter you want to automate is enabled in the last page pf the knob/slider/what have you's properties.
2) Make sure the max ID in the instrument's properties is at least one higher than the max ID in use. A sort and compress IDs can be helpful here.
As for the morph slider, you can either insert a snapshot module and attach a knob/slider to the morph in port, or hard assign a cc in the last page of the instrument properties.

just one further comment, because I had the same problem today. ewistrand´s tips could solve me my main
problem but there were some knobs left, which weren´t "speaking" with LIVE. This is,
what finally solved my problem.
1) Instruments with Multi Picture buttons, sliders can´t me automated. I think You have to replace them
with those built in buttons and sliders. That worked for me.
2) On the las tab of the Reaktor instrument properties "Automation Hide Name" has to be UNCHECKED.
(took me 4 hours to figure that out..... ) And don´t forget ewistrand´s tips....
Maybe that´s helpfull for someone else here.
Cheers
