I actually called them about this, just after they bumped the release date but before I read about it...they said it was being pushed up, but the gist of it was that we get a free upgrade, provided that we pay for shipping on the software since it's too big to download. I don't know what else is entailed, but being that I'm in the same boat, and that I've been pissed about their "workaround" since I first tried it, I'm definitely going to find out in the next few days...will post back, if someone doesn't beat me to it.

i didn't even realize they have the countdown already.. 7 day and 13 hours til release!! honestly, I thought more people would be more excited about this... if Trilian is based on that new steam engine and will be as good as omni, it's going to be bananas. i really miss having a go-to plug in for bass sounds..

yes,

i am also eagerly awaitnig it.

omni, and the arturia stuff are what i use the most these days.

Am also missing a good bass Au, soem decent samlped bass woudl be cool again as well. . .
I slipped into a daze, whilst I was there I heard the most startling music, it was at once familiar and alien, reassuring and unsettling.

Looking forward to this as well. I still use Trilogy on my intel Mac, but the wrapper business is clunky and I do get the odd dropped note.

Eric Persing (user handle Spectrum) has joined in a thread at kvr with some tantalizing details on Trillian:

Been dealing with the lame-o workaround for a long while myself. Definitely excited to get the free upgrade, though.
