I have started to download with Safari on MAC OSX 10.6 and it the only way to track this download was on Activity window. Where is the file?

So how are ppl finding the looper?

Is it just me or are ppl finding that it does strange things to what u played in?

Like timing and pitch changes to original?

little scratchy clicks from my midi button assignment often.

Or the begining of the loop is missing or muted?

Yet if you play the first note again after you have stopped recording it IS still recorded and somewhat fixes the last problem. (really weird)

DOES THE LOOPER WORK BETTER PRE SNOW LEOPARD?

I'm getting some very strange results with warping new pre recorded song with 8.08.

Just standard dance type wavs.

Seems to hang on identifying the correct original tempo and comes up with fairly random
tempo suggestions (not double or Half etc).

Just noticed this earlier and have never had this problem before so will try some more songs.

8.0.5 Sutie install time: 2 hours..
8.0.8 Suite install time: 40 seconds!!

edit: make that 6 minutes. When opening Live 8.0.8 for the first time, it installs updates for the library, latin percussion etc.
It wasn't able to finish it though, hmm..

^^ Actually, I was surprised that no updates were installed when I launched 8.0.8 the first time. I did, however, install the
"full" version (which was supposed to be enough even for Suite owners) - not the full Suite install.

Did anyone else notice any difference in launch time between .0.5 and .0.8? I think the latest update is a bit slow on
startup.

Same here! What are the differences between 8.0.8 and 8.0.9?

seems you need 8.0.9 to install the free Able10 Live Packs

http://www.ableton.com/able10-artist-packs

maybe it also a version that actually works, but then again that might just be crazy talk :o

Since going through all the betas it's been over 12 times now that I've had to sit and wait and watch the installer install Analog, Collision, Electric, Tension, and then first thing I do when it's finished is go to uninstall them again. It's not a massive problem, just an annoying little thing that I constantly associate with beta testing... A more efficient install of only the instruments I have actually purchased might encourage more people to use the betas...

Please consider this for 8.0.6b1/8.1b1  - thanks.
...and... it's fixed in 8.0.8! Thank you so much for this! Appreciated! :)
Broken again in 8.0.9, but it might be getting confused by the newly installed beta authorisations for Live 8.1b7... hmmm... :?

seems that max for live is screewing the program totaly..and probably for a while to come..

maybe going back to 7 is the only real option we have here...

I find 8.0.5 to be so much better than 7.

Actually I must say that I'm really impressed with Ableton's bug-fixing attitude. I see no other company which pushes new versions out this fast, and is interested in getting as much feedback about bugs as possible.

Most companies hide behind a "firewall" of ticket systems with no specific person behind it which engages into a dialog about the issue.

I guess I'm just lucky that my most annoying things have been fixed, which was keyboard focusing to vst's and absolute mouse positioning. I rarely see a crash occuring, but when it happens, it's usually the plug-in's fault.

Even though I really would like to see this issue get fixed:

so there is a new update (8.0.9), and no new post, no info, no changelogs? How come?

Btw, sine 8.0.8, I had zero problems. That's the version that should have been released at the very beginning.
