I would like to know... is there additional content to warrant the ever increasing installer file size?

No crashes on Win XP SP3.

Many crashes on Snow Leopard Mac OS X.
Almost every time I save a live set with Reaktor FX VST it crashes.

EDIT:

I sent these crash reports to support yesterday.
Today the problem has disappeared and I haven't seen any crashes.
No changes that I am aware of account for the disappearance of crashes, but I'm happy.

8.08 works pretty fine here with Snow Leopard 10.6.1, i didnt have a single crash even with Reaktor and a lot of Plugins. But to be honest 8.05 was pretty stable too.

Cheers

Did a four hour or so jam session last night with L8.0.8 on OS X 10.6.1 including lots of dragging sets into other sets while audio is playing (something that in the past has been a cause of crashes) and it was completely ok.

Though all of my 8.0.5 crashes came from more sitting at home, constructing tracks and using arrangement mode more, so it remains to be seen if 8.0.8 is more stable there.

the bug i have noticed for a while is still there though
a volume fader can occasionally shoot from zero to full when i try to turn it up a little bit

i reported the bug ages ago
it only happens occasionally so it might be hard to reproduce

I have had no crashes on 8.0.5 on PC or Mac.

Immediately after downloading 8.0.8 I had some trouble on the Mac, but none so far on the PC.

Today, the Mac seems to have stabilized.

According to the Console crash report, all the Mac errors were in the AWindow destructor:

I'll be giving it a work out tonight at band practice, messed about last night without any problems.
8.05 was crashing pretty frequently for me, mostly when running Omnisphere or some NI stuff.
Hopefully this will be the cure.

Had about 3 crashes so far with 8.0.8, can´t really say why and in no particular situations (so not reproducible).
Not sure if more unstable as 8.0.5, didn´t had much time to play around with 8.0.5.

So, mixed feelings about 8.0.8.
