I've been trawling the net for a couple of months looking into this, all I seem to be able to find out is this a multi-touch device, dual-core processor, is between 7 and 13 inches, and will cost about 750 quid/dollars/euros.
The idea of a unit that combines a mac book pro and a lemur makes me have a little sex wee.
Anybody know anything more about this?

There has been much speculation on the subject, but nothing certain.

Last rumor was that it will run the iphone OS... which should kill any erections.
There is already plenty of options on the pc side but I dont see myself running ableton with my fingers.

...but you do run Ableton with your fingersEarwax69 wrote: but I dont see myself running ableton with my fingers.
We've all heard the speculations & I'm quite sure it'll be on the market soon enough.
I will be as giddy as a school girl ONCE
A) I know a 15/17 in. model is available
B) That Live is fully coded & properly working on it
C) meh---fuck it...I'll just wait till Apple releases their holographic imaging model Mac..
Re: The 'Apple Slate' table laptop
I was reading about a '3 bears' operating system, something that fits nicely in the middle. And as for running Ableton with fingers, I've been doing that with the Lemur for years, so having having a Slate/APC40/Soundcard combo for gigging seems like the next logical step for me. Especially when you start using M4L to fill in some of the gaps.Earwax69 wrote:Last rumor was that it will run the iphone OS... which should kill any erections.

I can't ever see myself using a PC to gig, and most of the tablets I've used have been 'one touch' and really flaky.
