Impulse midi/assign
Impulse midi/assign
can you assign each impulse slot to a specific midi note?
had an idea about assigning the impulse plugin across a column on the launchpad [8slots/8pads]

Re: Impulse midi/assign
from C3 up, white keys only..
Re: Impulse midi/assign
based on the LP midi note reference
example:
1st empty impulse slot - top/left LP pad
2nd empty impulse slot - top/next LP pad
etc etc..

Re: Impulse midi/assign
I don't get what you want to do here... play the empty slots on an Impulse instrument? Que?
Edit* Is this because the LP has funky MIDI assignments?

the impulse empty slots are assigned to specific midi note,
it would be nice to assign the slots to a specific midi note, therefore creating a custom grid on the launchpad.

I don't own the LP, but I'm sure you can adjust the midi notes the pads are sending accordingly.penfolder wrote:the impulse empty slots are assigned to specific midi note,

Record the output onto a midi track. This thread is making me want to talk like a pirate:
"AArrrrrrr, record the output onto a midi track, y'landlubbers, there be yer reference, by tarrr! Then set yer pitch and scale plugins so they catch the wind and bend it the right way so that it taps the slots on their mizzen! ARRRRrrrr."
