My father was 5 years old when the war ended.

One of my grandfathers served on the hospital trains in North Africa. He never spoke about it. My other grandfather was an objector, was arrested in the UK and sverd his time as part of the land army.

I doubt we have many people old enough to have had fathers that served in concentration camps (except maybe for Guantanamo Bay) on this forum.

I watched the Baader-Meinhof Complex the other day, great film. Also, The Lives of Others, also a great film. lots of great films coming out of Germany currently.

Interestingly I found that both thos films highlighted the radical politics that ends lives even when people believe they are extolling socialist politics.

An extremist is an extremist, probably not on a par with a man who likes to jizz on his Mrs while she sleeps, although perhaps one could argue that a penchant for such activities transcends politics and probably religion.

The real debate here is one of respect. Secreting bodily fluids over anyone without consent is disrespectful, but with consent, can be fun.

I suspect both right wing and left wing politiciansd engage in such pursuits when the fancy takes them.

How do you use Live?

Errr, probably worth pointing it out.

The war ended 55 years ago.

We are a different generation, and hopefully (at least in Europe) the same atrocities won't be repeated.

Why not talk about audio, or Ableton instead of posting ridiculous polls.

Who cares what peoples parents did. it's what you do that matters.
I slipped into a daze, whilst I was there I heard the most startling music, it was at once familiar and alien, reassuring and unsettling.

For example, my Dad plays a mean bluegrass banjo, still does.

(note: Bluegrass banjo is not a metaphor)

this thread seems to be hypocrit magnet
maybe necho if ur sister/daughter/etc was sexuall assaulted in her sleep u would be as concerned for the hate and insult being spewed in other threads for "edgy" comedy funs
it would be better if you were just little less selfish and could see the offense without first knowing it

Both my grandfathers, dutch, worked for Todt cq. Speer.

Both returned alive.

My mother was born january 45 in Rotterdam, a city that was bombed to pieces in may '40.

Do I hate Germans.

Calm down. First off you assumed that the situation originally described involved a non consenting female, yet the story didn't suggest that at all.

You became upset, the iternetz rose up on you as it is wont to do and now you've got yourself in all sorts of higgledy piggle.

It's not necessary.

Tell us a funny story, go on.

I lived in Germany 22 years and Germans are some of the funniest people around who can be trusted more than allot of other Nationalities, great drinking partners and generally great people.
