just got a apc 40,still using live 6. mac power book 10.4.1 regular memory 2 gig process speed still what ever it is. my ? is should i wait to get live suit 8. or wait til namm 2010 to see what they have in store with the calab. i cannot run anything on my old live 6 sets. Cant even use use my interface except for 2 channels(dual). Could i finance the program from here or what.A.M.S. Soundz i know all of that 2.O yeah i unlock offline the mac dosent hit the waves in the air. That 1 anyway. let me know.

AHA!
the colab will actually look like the incorporation of vinyl control over *something* in live.
you can do similar things with ms.pinky and max4live, but no vinyl control over clips there.

it depends on what you wanna do.

if all of my sets would be unplayable, i would HAVE to upgrade. or ditch the apc until i could afford an upgrade.

but don't uninstall Live 6 just yet + rename your sets to something like setname_L8.als after you upgrade so you don't loose any of your old jive.
