The bane of my existence: Coming up with Artist Names

I would say I am a fairly creative person but this one thing has plagued me my entire music career.
I can't think of non-horrible artist names. To make matters worse I'm working on multiple separate projects
right now, meaning I don't need one good name, I need multiple!

This is more just me venting I guess, but I'm curious what people look to for inspiration on here
when thinking of a name for a new project. I know they have those band name generators but those usually
spit out the worst shit I've ever heard in my life.

So where do you guys look for inspiration when thinking of artist names?
Maybe talk about where your name that you use came from?

I have an always expanding list of names for acts, tracks, etc. Just read a lot, name things that surround you, and let the words resonate in your mind. If they sound right, mean something you like, etc, then use it.

Movies, books, tv, technology, posters, internet, spoken words, world leaders, poems, religion, science, history, people, nature, cosmos, feelings, lyrics, heroes, losers, evolution, death, machines, humor, irony, love, hate, family, friends, music, radio, roadsigns, the sky, worms, dirt, lava, explotions, pretty women, sickness, accidents, personal belifs, spirituality, lord of the rings, superman, satan, donald duck and so on.

You can read the ingredients label on a weird food product you never seen before and find the perfect name! Or you can pick the first letter in the 15 latest posts on this forum, and make a word out of it. Or you can turn on and off your tv and wright down the first word you hear each time. Or you can try to visualize your music and try to find a word that match the things you see in your head.

But if you really have no idea what to call you projects SMOKE A JOINT!
