I agree with that - I've been eating less starchy/sugary carbs lately and feel better for it, hoping to continue it for a while. Got the idea from my brother who's done it for a while and says it's made a massive difference to his energy levels, digestion, etc. My immune system is still a bit shit but that's always been a true for me, starting on the Vitamin D3 after hearing good things...mikemc wrote:

If you get the majority of your carbs from fruits, greens and more substantial veggies, forgo the bread and potatoes, it is amazing how good it makes you feel. I was on that for a while and slipped, but will be on it again for the next couple of months.
Also, if you like meat, and like chili, try making some using ground bison. It has more protein and the fat is more digestible than beef.
Oh and all you vegetarian/vegan/raw types go ahead, I'll keep enjoying my nice juicy steaks, nothing wrong with decent quality meat IMO
